World Land Trust

A unique international initiative to protect the world's most threatened and most biologically important habitat is being made by the World Land Trust (WLT). Since 1989, the WTL has worked hard to create reserves, to permanently protect the habitat and its wildlife, by funding partner organizations around the world. The projects involve local organisations as partners in the conservation effort of the endangered habitats, where it is urgently required of funds. The WLT is based in Halesworth , Suffolk, UK, and run by a small team of staff, many of whom work part-time, and whose patrons are well-known personalities David Gower and Sir David Attenborough.
