Attend free cycling legacy event

On August 4th (Sunday), Amateurs and professionals will conduct free cycling legacy event with 25,000 amateur riders along with world’s top professionals getting onto the same road. This will be the next big event after London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Cycling fans can get closer to their favourite stars like David Millar (Garmin-Sharp) and Peter Sagan (Cannondale).

The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic which is part of London’s new cycling festival will start from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Fans can take a close look at team buses and also see riders signing on and then see the race take off and finally watch it live on the big screen. Visitors can also try their hand on bike based activities during the event.

The 140-mile inaugural run will witness 150 world’s top male professionals taking up the run through Box Hill and Leith Hill in Surrey before finishing off at central London on the Mall.

Apart from this it will also include live BMX shows from Team Extreme. Young people can try out on giant games while others can try on different bikes such as horizontal posture cycles and handcycles.

This cycling festival is scheduled to start at 11am and will take off at 12:45pm. So, be sure to make yourself present for the great event.
