Supported by the Farm Safety Partnership and organised by Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland (HSENI) a free farm safety workshop will be held in Ballymena on 11th March 2013 for YFCU members focussing on farmers’ safety
Several farmers had lost their lives in the farm last year. Qualified instructors will demonstrate some of the common accidents taking place in a farm and will focus on four dangerous factors such as slurry, animals, falls and equipment (SAFE).
It is scheduled to take place from 10am to 1:30pm at Ballymena Livestock Market, 1Woodside Road, Ballymena, BT42 4HX. The YFCU, a member by itself invites all for the free event.
