Free painting classes in East Boldon
Carol White from East Boldon is encouraging people to take up painting. She is holding free painting classes for interested people. A series of classes will be held throughout the months of June and July. Sessions will be held at the United Reformed Church, situated on Front Street (East Boldon), from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, on Mondays. Another session on Fridays will be from 10am to 12 noon, and 2pm to 4pm, at the Whitburn Library in Hedworth Terrace.
Carol White says a lot of people have stopped trying to paint after attempting unsuccessfully at school. Some have been put off owing to the high cost of equipment or of the classes they have to enrol in. She believes that painting is a skill everyone can learn.
