Free Matrock Community event with fireworks
The Matrock Community Group has organise the Matrock weekend, which is an event being organised next week that will bring children’s entertainment and live music to the village with a fireworks display too for free. The Group’s members have organised for the event remote control cars, bouncy castle and have a band called SlapFace and the Hoagies from Bristol. The group has been able to offer all this free after some hectic fund-raising. The fireworks display that is part of the free event has been funded by Matrock Parish Council. Group member Liz Burke says it’s a good local event that is bringing the people together on the evening of June 15. The event scheduled on Saturday will run from 6:30am to 10pm at the Recreation Ground in the Matrock village.
