Smart SetupThe Finnish phone manufacturer Nokia has started a novel service that offered smartphone users something called Smart Setup. People who purchased a new Nokia Lumia smartphone could arrange for an appointment through the Smartphone Setup site and avail of assistance over their device. This new facility was the successor of a similar Smart Setup that was launched in the United States a couple of months back.

The customer care team at Smart Setup would provide tailor-made services as per the requirements of the user.

The person heading the Customer Care centre in the UK, Mr. Matt Channing stated that though the Windows Phone was an operating system that was spontaneous, it is rather new to the industry. Friends and relatives were generally the first people that a user would go to when they are in doubt, and he said that they at the Smart Setup would like to be that relative or friend that the customer turned to when they had any questions regarding the new Windows Phone operating system. He added that there were a lot of wrong notions among people and many were anxious that they were unable to customize their gadgets or have their ring tones personalized.

He remarked that the Customer Care team at Smart Setup would be able to tutor the users on how they could modify their smartphone and explain to them how they can install a variety of applications so that they can carry out their wishes.
