Microsoft undertakes trial of Windows 8 operating system

‘Windows 8’ operating system will emerge in two variations – one suitable for desktops and laptops and the other, a new version, meant for ARM microprocessor in smartphones, tablets and certain portable devices.

As per the Daily Mail report of 1st March, Microsoft introduced the new operating system to the public and the reviewers. It is considered to be both unique and revolutionary. The free trial of Windows 8, which can run on desktops, tablets and laptops, was done on 29th February. It is a make or break opportunity for Microsoft.

With the introduction of tablets and cloud computing there is computer in every desk and every home, as dreamt by Bill Gates, the chairman of Microsoft.

Windows 8 adapts the iconic operating system for life in the mobile tablets.

With Microsoft Office free on tablets, the app will put Windows 8 machines in front of Apple devices, according to the newspaper.

The release date of the operating system is not yet revealed, but it is presumed to be available by the autumn season.

The market capitalization of Microsoft is around $ 267 billion.

Incidentally, Windows 8 is without the usual ‘Start’ menu. The applications are over a mosaic of tiles in ‘Metro’ design. The tiles can be navigated with a finger swipe on the screen.
