Harlow in Essex will be hosting its free fireworks extravaganza on 3rd November. Some 15,000 people are expected to witness the free fireworks night event, on that Sunday, at the Showground in Harlow Park. The bonfire will be lit by Linda Pailing, Harlow Council Chair, at 6:45pm, followed by a laser show, leading to the fireworks display, starting at 7:15pm and lasting 20 minutes.
A part between Edinburgh Way roundabout and Sainsbury’s roundabout, on Fifth Avenue, will be closed at 5:15pm and later opened at 8:20pm. During the closure, diversions will be made, as a large number of spectators are expected to walk to the Showground.
There will be no parking on site and only at car parks at the town centre. The council has directed people coming to the free fireworks show, not to bring fireworks or pets, wear appropriate clothing and footwear, that children should be accompanied by an adult and all remain behind the safety barriers.
