An application is submitted to the government, asking permission to open a free school in Boston town centre. If the application gets green signal the area can benefit from a free school. Last week, the application was submitted by Boston Free School Steering Committee to the Department for Education. The new primary school in the Boston Area will offer a better learning environment for pupils. Member of the Boston Free School Steering Committee, Denzil Shepheard said that they have made conscious efforts to create the application in the last six months.
Families and the community have expressed their need for Free School. To open the Boston Free School, it needs approval from Department for Education. Boston Free School Steering Group was among the 300 groups in the UK to receive support from the New Schools Network, in preparation for the application. If everything goes by plan, the free school will begin from September 2013. The initiative will help local families and communities. Improved primary education is a requisite in this area and Boston Free School will cater to the demanding education needs of the children. The committee is waiting for approval from Department for Education. The plans for opening the free school have been progressing in the past few months.
