Free rickshaw ride scheme in Southport

Have you ever taken a rickshaw ride for free? Here is your chance when in Southport. A free rickshaw transport scheme is now being tried out by the joint effort of the Sefton Council and the West Lancashire Borough Council as a project. This scheme is currently being operated in Southport Town Centre. The free rickshaw rides are being offered here from the Southport Eco Centre to the Southport Town Hall, which would be really entertaining. The project which is a pilot scheme covers the Sefton Coast. That is from Waterloo to Southport. The scheme also covers inland parts that is the western areas of West Lancashire and includes both Burscough and Ormskirk. This joint council project is for supporting the Visitor Economy to the area.
