Wokingham Borough Council will host a free event for teenagers who can try driving for the first time. The event will cover topics and advice on various issues such as problems facing new drivers, purchasing a second hand car, effects of accidents and first aid after an accident. There will be a taster driving session, road safety advice, presentations by emergency services and more.
Young people in the age group of 15 to 17 years and who are applying for provisional driving licence can attend the free event on 17 April from 9.15am to 4pm at Woodley Airfield Youth Centre in Hurricane Way.
Events such as these must be certainly attended by young people who are new to driving as it exposes oneself to new techniques and rules involved in driving. Also, it lets us understand about the dangers and risks involved in unskilled and reckless driving. Hence, all those looking forward to attend this free event must make sure to book in advance.
