Free event on awareness of eating disorder

Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust will conduct a free event at Grantham to understand about eating disorders. It will be held along with the people who have overcome the disorder.

According to a nurse specialist, about 1.6 million people are affected by eating disorder which means one out of 39 people are affected by it. The disorder can affect anyone in their life time and upto 20 percent of the male are struck with this. Therapies and treatments are available to improve healthy lifestyle. People who have successfully overcome this disorder, their health care specialists and carers will participate in the event and share their ideas on treatment and support available.

The event will take place on 27 February (Thursday) at Grantham Christian Fellowship Centre from 5pm to 8pm. Interested persons can email to info@lpft.nhs.uk or call on 01529 222 276 to book for a place or for more information.
