Wandsworth Council has offered to recycle free the Christmas trees to be disposed, as part of the Council’s regular refuse and recycling service. Collection days will be between 2nd January (Wednesday) and 15th January (Tuesday). The Christmas trees would be collected from the front gardens of people’s houses. Residents, according to the council, should keep these trees out in front only on normal collection days, and are advised not to leave them on pavements, unless there’s no other place. Residents living in flats are advised to leave their trees near their refuse-bin store, but without blocking access to the store. Details and information regarding refuse and recycling services or during the Christmas holidays and other front-line services of the council during the holiday period are available on the site-wandsworth.gov.uk/openinghours.
