Afternoon Twee will conduct a free shopping event, ‘The Local Market’ which will be held on the first Sunday of every month between 01 April and 30 June this year at Glasgow North at 11am. There will be lot of products to be bought such as Food, clothes, crafts, arts, homeware and jewellery that are recycled, repurposed, handmade and above all Scottish made. The event will support various firms such as local arts, small businesses, crafts, start ups, creatives, imagineers, social enterprises and entrepreneurs.
Glasgow Girls Club will also for the first time bring out their hand made jewellery for sale during the event. All those planning to attend the free event can bring their kids along and get other facilities such as parking and lunch as well at Clean Plates in Burgh Halls. Attendees are advised to contact event organiser to confirm about the free shopping event.
