Go Digital Newcastle is the scheme to cover 97% of Newcastle city with superfast broadband by 2015. They are organising a free event – The Superfast Business Success, to show companies how to boost up their online skills and potential. The Business Support Programme is offering small and medium enterprises of the city free help and advice in a wide range. They include workshops and interactive master-classes on online marketing, website development, cloud computing, using Twitter and Face book to advantage, on social media, online trading and SEO.
Specialists will advice and help local businesses improve their online skills, help get consultancy projects and help get a grant for equipment (worth £2,000). Go Digital Newcastle is also making available Connection Vouchers, worth up to £3,000, to get or upgrade superfast broadband connection for Newcastle companies and businesses.
