One of the biggest equestrian exhibitions in the country, the Royal Windsor Horse Show (RWHS) will open its doors, for the first time, for all visitors on the first day of the event. The event will run on the grounds of the Windsor Castle from 14 May to 18 May. The day introduced as Windsor Wednesday will host 32 classes of dressage, driving and jumping. Children will also be allowed free on Thursday and Friday of the event.
The show director, Simon Brooks-Ward hopes this free entry would attract visitors who normally don’t attend a horse show. It would be an opportunity for all, especially children, to witness high quality horse sports for free. He hopes this experience would bring visitors again to, not only here to the Windsor Castle grounds, but to other equestrian events in United Kingdom. Again for the first time the RWHS event will be featuring prestigious international class competitions. The event will also have a Food Festival Area and more than 220 trade-stalls for British produce.
The organisers of RWHS have got a huge response and are encouraging those attending the free event to book their tickets, so as to track numbers of visitors. They are offered at www.rwhs.co.uk or by phone at 0844 581 4960.
