Come; be part of one of the most spectacular events, the Chinese New Year that falls on 31 January 2014. Celebrations will be held on 2nd February 2014 in Chinatown, Shaftesbury Avenue, Leicester Square and Trafalgar Square from 10am to 6pm.
The free programme is scheduled to start with a parade that begins from Duncannon Street and move along Charing Cross Road and Shaftesbury Avenue. There will be opening ceremony in Trafalgar Square with special guests giving speech. The opening is marked officially and celebrations start off with various programmes such as music, Dragon dancing and performances on the Trafalgar Square stage. Firecrackers, lion dancing, food stall and parties will be part of the event.
