Free event to help businesses to export, at Pershore

January 28th, 2014 by Sandy

The Wychavon District Council is organising a free event to help those in business to venture into export. The event looks at inspiring local businesses to take up intentional trading into their business plans and integrate it as a success strategy.

The event is being organised after the successful event – ‘Making it in Export’, which was held last October in Pershore. The UK Trade and Investment body is hosting it in partnership with the West Midlands Chambers of Commerce.

Wychavon’s Economic Development Officer, Jane Dobson, says they hope to encourage locally established businesses not exporting, to consider overseas supply in their business planning, as research showed that such overseas business give them 11% more chances to survive. It can also help strengthen the economy, she added.

The free event will be hosted at the Civil Centre in Pershore, on 4th February. For a place, please book by registering online at uktigrowth.eventbrite.com. Or send email to l.blaj@uktiwm.co.uk, otherwise call up- Ph: 0121 607 1775.
