PDSA to organise free health check up for dogs

Here is good news for dogs and dog owners too as a free check up for pets will be organised by the charity PDSA in the area of Derwentside. The free well-being check up will be available on the PetCheck vehicle from August 20th to August 23rd from 9am to 4pm on these days.

Check up ranges right from examination of the dog’s body weight, eyes, teeth, body shape, coat and general fitness. Expert advice for other pets also will be given. Nail clipping and microchipping will be done at a low cost.

Free checkup for dogs can be availed at different places such as Hillfield, in Blackhill (August 23); Southfields, in South Stanley, (August 22); the lay-by outside Moorside Primary School, in Derby Drive, Moorside (August 21) and South Magdalene car park, in Medomsley August 20 (Tuesday).
