A fun-day is being organised for residents of Little Stanion, by the borough council, NHS Corby Clinical Commissioning Group, Northamptonshire HealthcareNHS Foundation Trust and others. The free event open to all, is aimed at helping all families to become healthier and happier.
The event is being held at the Welcome Gate, located on Roman Road. Health professionals will be there at the venue on 14 August, Wednesday, from 1pm to 3pm, to give expert advice. There will be dental samples for children. Visitors and parents of young kids can get a childhood illness information guide covering a range of symptoms, various illnesses and conditions. There’s also arts and crafts, outdoor games, a junior spa by Exeter children’s Centre and Homestart Corby. Rural pride officer Suzanne Preston says the event will give residents and others get the right health service or advise, as well as enjoy some fun activities, or even relaxation therapy in this free fun-day being held next week.
