Celebrate National Football Day with free events at Kidderminster

Sir Bobby Robson’s National Football Day will be celebrated with a free mini-soccer festival in Kidderminster on 10th August to celebrate 150th year of FA. The event will take place at the King Charles I School from 10am to 2pm.

One of the four events will be hosted by Kidderminster Lions Football Club on behalf of Worcestershire Football Association. There will also be penalty competitions, a chance to win tickets to September’s England versus Moldova, a session to be held at the Lions’ soccer school and free events such as coaching session with Football Association Tesco skills team.

According to the Chairman of Kidderminster Lions, they are proud for having been selected as one of the 150 national events. Hence, he hopes that youngsters from the community come together for this great event. Upto 200 participants are expected to get free tickets on 10th of August from 3pm. This will be the first home game of the season. 17 teams with age groups under 7s to 18s will participate in the game. There is also a soccer school for the age group of four to eight years.
