July 25th, 2013 by Sandy

A series of free arts workshops has been launched by South Wales Intercultural Community Arts (SWICA) for the 24th Cardiff Carnival.

The event is scheduled to take place at the Channel View Leisure Centre before the carnival is set to start on August 10th. The launch will allow people to try on different attractive costumes. Free carnival workshops will be held which will contain designing and developing costumes and to know how to dance with them during the parade.

The workshops hosted by the carnival artists of SWICA’s team have already started from July 23rd and will run until August 8th this year. The parade will start from Cardiff bay to the city centre through the Queen Street.
