Here’s a wonderful chance for people of Barnsley aged over 60 to take part in the Get Lifewise event which will be focused on safety measures such as crime prevention and fire safety. South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue and South Yorkshire Police in partnership with Yorkshire Housing will conduct this free event on July 19th, Friday from 10am to 2.30pm.
The learning centre will educate people the methods of dealing and reducing crimes to improve the meaning of life. It will also make the life of people safe and secure. Methods to deal with rogue traders as well as doorstep callers will be dealt in the programme.
This safety event will take place in an interactive learning centre at the Lifewise Centre, Hellaby, Rotherham.
