This way he learns to develop both his skills as well as the company’s business. Learning experience can happen in any working environment such as national chains, market stall, super markets and independent stores.
They can learn to handle purchases and sales and also to work in a specialist department. They might also perform background works such as stock handling. This way apprentices can learn at work rather than going in for a formal training. Trainer or mentor is assigned for apprentices joining the company.
Those looking forward to Modern Apprenticeships funds can avail it from Skills Development Scotland through the Government. Funding for different age categories, that is 16 to 19 year and 20 to 24 year olds at both Level 2 and Level 3 are available. Retail Modern Apprenticeships are available through DM Training Consultants at both Grampian and Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce.
