Active Lifestyle Scheme members free facility

Under the Active Lifestyle Scheme the Leicester City Council will be offering its leisure facilities free for 6 months to those joining the the scheme. This scheme is designed for people who have medical conditions or physical ailments. If they could benefit from physical activity, qualified exercise professionals will guide them to improve their health. Just ask your doctor/surgery if you wish to enrol. It does not cost for referral by GP Practices or other health-care professionals in the city. Active Lifestyle Scheme starts from 1st of April, 2013, and the referral instructor will guide you step-by-step on your journey to better health. So call at 0116 299 5585.

 

Herefordshire National Trust properties opens up for free

Come, make this weekend fun filled one by visiting Herefordshire gardens and houses for free. This was announced by The National Trust. You can visit Parkland, Berrington Hall, Croft Castle, The Weir and Brockhampton Estate on April 20th and 21st during this period. Refreshment area that is tea room is available at each location. Visits to every location will throw light upon the importance of that place.

Terra Nova School offers free nursery taster session

A free taster session for parents and their two to four year olds will be held at Terra Nova School. The session will take place from 10 am to 12noon on 7th of May 2013. Situated very near to Jodrell Bank Observatory and about 6.5 miles away from Alderley Edge, it can also be reached quickly from Liverpool, Manchester and Chester.

New facilities have been added at the school to improve environment of young people. They allow limited admission per class so as to provide individual attention. Also, teachers are well experienced to develop children in every field- social, personal and academics.

Activities will be conducted in refurbished classrooms that are decorated with numerals, stories, literacy and many others. They also get to play in open space such as fields, sandpit, play area and garden. Parents can discuss with the Head of Pre-Prep (Rachel Cookson) and also with the Pre-Prep team regarding the admission or just enjoy being with the children there.
