Free Rugby Taster Sessions in Southampton

Warm up to the Rugby World cup to be held in 2015, that’s coming here to England. Would you like to give a try at the game? You get into three free rugby taster sessions, provided to you by Waterside Sports and Social Club, run by Fawley Ruby Club. If you fancy giving the game a try for the first time or are returning back to rugby playing, then here ‘s your chance. So grab it! For younger age groups Non-contact tag rugby is also played. Boys and girls up to school year 6 can play together. Sunday mornings session will be for 6 to 15 year-olds and Tuesday evenings session will be for ages 16 and above. The contact game, in line with the RFU guidelines, will only be slowly introduced over a number of years, to the children. The coaching here will be for all participants of all levels of experience. People of all sizes and abilities can have a position on the rugby field, not just big hunks.
