People living in Flintshire council are being provided with free market trader courses. The County Council of Flintshire is providing free market trader courses to their residents, whereby they get the opportunity to get to know how they can become a market trader. A five day course totally free of cost will be conducted at Hollywood library from the 17th to the 24th of the coming month. The workshop would cover a range of topics like selling skills, and counselling on the different codes of trading, product research, a visit to one of the wholesalers and methods of display, that help offer backing to prospective market traders who are starting out their career.

The faculties for the course would be people with skill and experience and who are themselves market traders. These people would provide guidelines and assistance even after the course was completed so that the participants could be urged to set out on their own and commence a business on any one of the county’s markets.  For assistance the new market traders could carry out trading for the present at Holywell market for free or for lowered rates for a certain period. This is a option that is offered to all people who are new market traders irrespective of whether they had attended the free course or not.

The free course concurs with that Saturday’s National Market Day 2012 that usually goes on for two weeks because the markets are on different days. In fact this is the consequence of the suggestions that were raised in the latest Mary Portas report that emphasized the significance of backing markets in the locality.
