Free anti-theft number plate screws to protect vehicles

Glad news for drivers as Hertfordshire Constabulary with M Wilson Motors will provide free anti-theft screws. With this criminals would find it hard to remove the number plate. Also, people can safeguard their vehicles easily.

According to the Crime Reduction Unit Inspector Paul Lawrence, the anti- theft number plate will help motorists to safeguard their vehicle by keeping their number plate safe. The whole process takes just 10 minutes and hence interested persons can make use of this opportunity by calling 01727 803539 to know more about this.

 

Free orienteering taster session at Sanders Park

Harlequins Orienteering Club along with the Bromsgrove District Council will conduct a free orienteering taster session at Sanders Park on 13th July.

This orienteering programme is a fun filled activity where one is trained to find their way out through a course using a map. This programme can be enjoyed by an individual or by a group of people as orienteers go around the course jogging, walking or running.

This taster session will help every one of all ages particularly to develop decision making skills. Hence, people can make use of this opportunity to acquire knowledge in orienteering.

 

Free golf sessions at Roker Park

The Northwich Council and the police are organising free golf sessions for families and children at the Roker Park. Free events will be held on specific days for a month starting from 13th July to August 13th 2013.  Children can make use of this facility during this summer holidays.

Chance to win tickets to Heart In The Park

Here is an on-air competition to win 2 Standard Entry tickets to Heat in the Park, on 14 July, a Sunday. The competition which will run from 7 June to 14 July, this year, and will be on the radio station of The Heart Network. Participants will have to listen to the “Listen to Lionel” radio competition. Participants are deemed to have understood the rules along with Terms & Conditions (which can be found at www.heart.co.uk).

Anyone participating, or an Entrant, must listen and hear Lionel Richie’s spoken voice that will be played as directed by the presentator on air, on Heart. They have to call 09011515151 during opening time which will be given out on air, but the calls will be charged. Entrants will be asked to answer a qualifying question. They will have to press the buttons on the phone to select the correct answer. If correctly answered, the entrant will be entered in the draw. Those winning in the random draw will be contacted by phone, on their given number. Entrants must be over 18 years. Multiple participation is allowed, within the opening times. The prize will not include travel or accommodation, is not transferable and has no cash alternative.

 

Join in the fun cycling by Sky Ride Locals for free

East Staffordshire Borough Council, in partnership with Sky and British Cycling, are conducting in the area, a series of sky ride locals. The next ride will be on 14 July. The events are being guided by British Cycling Ride Leaders, along planned routes of scenic beauty. There’s no restriction and anyone who is building confidence or is one looking for a challenge, can find something with their different levels here in this cycling event. The British Cycling Recreation Manager for West Midlands says cycling is getting popular and can involve people of whatever age or fitness levels. Its made easier  for local people to have fun this summer on their bicycles in the open.
