Open Day to be held at Warrington Fire Station
Warrington Fire Station in Cheshire would be opening their doors to members of the public, in a free event that would have a wide range of interesting activities. The event will interest people throughout the day with activities like- vintage fire engines, modern fire engines, Firefighters charity stall, demonstration by cadets, kitchen safety vehicle, smoke tent demonstration, etc.
The free open day will be held on 29 June (Sunday) from 10.00AM to 4.00PM at the Warrington Fire Station, on Winwick Road, Warrington.
Free courses on synchronised swimming in York
York Energise Synchronised Swimming Group will conduct free courses on synchronised swimming as a sport this February. And for this new comers are welcome to attend. According to city leisure councillor, synchronised swimming is offered as a sport only in York in North Yorkshire.
Anyone interested in joining this sport event can join the team and have fun. This event is open to all. A fund of £1,600 has already been secured from the Sport England Sportivate to encourage the sport. Want to know about your family history? Then, this is a right chance as a free session on this will be held at the Bromley Cross Library. People interested to know about the details of their family’s past or who want to build the family tree can visit the library on 13 February (Thursday) starting from 10am. Such events are fruitful for those who are in search for the lost family tree. This gives way for you to discover your ancestors effectively.
