Save a Life, an awareness programme on first aid will be organised by St John Ambulance for the third year throughout September this year. The charity will give free first aid demonstrations to the public. The demonstrations will consist of five easy techniques involving simple ways to save a life. A pocket sized first aid guide which can be used in case of an emergency will also be given free of charge.
On September 10th Nottingham residents get a chance to learn these skills in Victoria Centre (Nottingham) at the Boots store. Based on a research conducted by St John Ambulance it was found that up to 140,000 people died every year because of lack of first aid.
