The players of the Cheshire Phoenix basketball team are visiting schools, since the beginning of December on a roadshow. The Phoenix is a professional basketball club of UK, run on not-for-profit basis by volunteer supporters who also own it. They have been delivering the ‘Hoop for Health Basketball Roadshow’ in primary schools, to encourage and to introduce a healthy lifestyle and eating choices, to the school pupils of ages 5 and 6. Plus, a free thing or two on on-court hoops skills. The pupils can receive basketball coaching further on, after the roadshow. They will be also given free tickets to the Northgate Arena in Chester, to watch a Phoenix home game. For further details visit www.cheshirephoenix.co.uk.
