May 2nd, 2014 by Sandy

The visionary and Chief Executive of Dragon’s Den, Doug Richard, will be tutoring business basics and how to increase the likelihood of success, at a free event, an intensive 6-week accelerator, for aspiring and new entrepreneurs, in south Devon.

The programme, worth £1000, has been initiated by the Plymouth and South West Peninsula City Deal, that strives to increase productivity and growth, plus encourage and support new businesses. The South West Peninsula Programme will focus on groups who don’t validate entrepreneurship as a career and for whom support is harder to access. The 250 seats are available for this innovative, unique and intensive programme, running 6 weeks, that aims to create future jobs and generate growth for South Devon.

The programme runs from June-July or September-October, which is also funded by the Regional Growth Fund (RGF) of the government. A series of information sessions are being held in May for prospective applicants, where they can meet Doug and the team for School of Statups. The event in South Devon will be held- 1) 9 May, Friday, 9:00AM – 11:00AM, Totnes with Doug Richards; 2) 9 May, Friday, 1:00AM – 3:00AM, Torquay with Doug Richards.
