April 16th, 2018 by Sandy

Horsham Park Bowls Club is ready for a new season and the bowling greens in Horsham Park, which are near to the tennis courts, will be bustling with activity. The club hopes to see new members join them this season. New members will be given free training with all equipment supplied. They also get in the first year, a reduced subscription.

Those interested are urged to come in on 21 April, at 11am and the following 22 April, at 2pm,  just wearing flat shoes. If it is not convenient, drop in on any Monday or Friday, in the evening, from 6pm,  as their new season starts on 21 April and runs up to September end. Or call in when the club members are playing.

The club is a friendly club and if you ever thought of playing outdoor bowls, the club caters for bowlers of all abilities. Bowls can be enjoyed by all ages and is a game played all over the world. The older generation like to take it up, particularly after they have retired from other sports.

New members are most welcome and all can enjoy a full programme of matches, such as friendly matches, internal competitions, competitive league matches, plus other social events. For more information and to know about the free training visit their website – Otherwise call by phone to 403-2661-70.
