The St John Wales First Aid app can be downloaded free on a phone (with Android 2.2 and up) from Google Play stores or the iTunes. It contains step by step procedure for several treatments that requires first aid. Based on the symptoms given in the app for cardiac arrest, Praet could identify the problem he was going through and call 999 for the ambulance. By the time the ambulance arrived he could not even move from the bed. He was admitted immediately to the nearest hospital after which a clot was removed and a stent was fit.
