Corby Voluntary and Community Services will conduct a free multi cultural event on 16 March (Sunday) to celebrate the diversity of the estate. The event will be held at the Oakley Vale Community Centre from 11.30am to 3pm.
Several activities such as henna design, dancing displays and foods to taste will be available at the event. People from various cultures and background including African and Polish will take part in the event. And residents who are new to this place can use this opportunity to understand about other traditions and cultures as well. It also creates chance for different people to meet at a place and to develop friendship with others. People from other places are also welcome to attend this event.
