Yippee! Here’s a rare and scary chance for youngsters at Daventry Country Park. A free Halloween will be held on October 31st 2012, which will comprise of ghost walk and scavenger hunts. Children are advised to accompany an adult and also carry a torch along.
According to Cllr Alan Hills, these sorts of activities are indeed a thrilling affair and will encourage youngsters to do something for the half term holiday. Mum and dads are encouraged to take their children along and enjoy the show at Daventry Country Park, he added.
Sponsorship for the event is done by Travis Perkins and free campfire by 4th Daventry Cub Scout group. The show will commence at 4:45pm and end at 6:30pm. Registration starts at 3.15pm – 3.45pm at the visitors’ centre. Participants are required to take a print out of the form on the day of the show. Cheers!
