Lostwithiel’s Gin Festival is coming back this year also. The free festival will be held on Saturday – June 29, 2019 running between 11 am to 9 pm at Central Lostwithiel. You can find Cornish gin makers on the festival day representing on the day and you can find almost all Cornish gins to sample from the makers of gins.
You will get drinks only at £4-£5. The entire day will have wonderful live entertainment which can be enjoyable by all tasting along with gins beside the river. There will be more than 15 gin makers present on the day including Capyn Gin, Tarquins Gin, Atlantic Distillery and more.
Lostwithiel based The Green Cart Farm Distillery will be presenting gin-making demonstrations. Enjoying the wide varieties of gins, you can also find local eateries – yummy fish and chips to many street foods available.
A spokesperson for the event said that this is an event organized not for profit by Lostwithiel Business Group and run by volunteers. The funds raised in the event will be used in supporting on other events like musical extravaganza, Sing along the River and the like.
The festival is free to attend along with free samples available of each Cornish gin and the drinks will be available to purchase at a price of £4 for gin & tonic and £5 for gin cocktails.
