Free event for teachers by Brightside

October 3rd, 2013 by Sandy

Brightside is a charity helping young people in education and career opportunities. In association with University Alliance and Teach First, they will be staging a free event for teachers, as also part of the HE Week celebrations. The event will be held on 14 October, between 6pm and 8pm, at The Wine Tun, 2-6 Cannon Street, London. The event will feature speeches from experts in IAG, including the Chief Executive of Brightside, Dr. Tessa Stone. Other teachers will present opportunities to network and share ideas with counterparts. The free event looks at how teachers can support their students and help in accessing the opportunities available at university and after. It will deal with success from school to university and supporting aspiration.
