February 13th, 2014 by Sandy

Children who like to learn survival skills can attend a free event at Skipton Castle Woods. They can spend an afternoon learning fire-making, shelter building and such things, to survive a cold winter and be close to nature. Alish Nash, the site manager, expects lots of visitors this Saturday (15th February) to the free event taking place at 1.00pm, which aims at children up to 13 years. Participants should assemble at Skipton Library. Places should be booked and can be done by email to vahunt100@tiscali.co.uk. (Or call 01606 42667 in advance, or call on the day to 07814 107732).
