February 27th, 2014 by Sandy

Local businesses in Portsmouth are invited for a free event that will cover subjects on opportunities, incentives and grants available for them. The event will take place on 7 March at Portsmouth’s Marriott Hotel from 7.30am to 10.30am. It is organised by the council, the chamber, Isle of Wight, the Association of Learning Providers for Hampshire and the NAS.

At the event, you get a chance to communicate to employers about the ways of improving both business and employees. It will cover topics on opportunities coming up to the city which will help to increase economy. This would be a fruitful event for businesses looking for advice and grants to develop their businesses. It will also focus on apprenticeship opportunities. It is understood that about 8% of youngsters in Portsmouth are neither under employment, education, apprenticeships nor training and hence would open up great opportunity for them if businesses work on providing apprenticeships.

Interested businesses are advised to book for the event in advance. Also, visit www.hampshirechamber.co.uk/events or email to events.south@hampshirechamber.co.uk or call on 01329 242420 for more details.
