Volunteers will be offered free tickets if they take part in an emergency exercise at the Corby Race Circuit, at Rockingham’s opening race of the new 2014 season. Volunteers should participate on 4th April, Friday, from10am, sitting in the grand-stand for long periods.
Volunteers will play spectators, when Rockingham’s safety procedures will be practised, including emergency evacuations of the grand stand. Cat Lund who is Rockingham’s head of operations, said it was important to check stewarding and also the spectator safety procedures annually. The participating volunteers can watch the British Automotive Racing Club race meeting’s test day, and also get free tickets to watch later some of the best BARC racing.
