Waltham Forest Women’s Network along with community organisations and the Council will celebrate International Women’s Day this year at Waltham Forest Assembly Hall. This will be the biggest event ever to be held in the area on 8 March (Saturday) from 2pm – 8.30pm. Local women get a chance to meet each other as well as exhibit their services and talents.
There will be performances such as Circle dancing, face painting, Belly Dancing and more apart from other attractions such as workshops and fashion shows. Stalls for henna designs, jewellery and face painting will also be set up. This event is mainly for women and those interested can contact Karen Flint at info.wfwn@gmail.com for more details.
