The South Somerset District Council (SSDC) in association with Somerset Business Agency and with other partners from across the UK, will be offering budding entrepreneurs a free event . It would help them or anyone in South Somerset thinking of, or planning, or just started a business with good advice. The event is open to anyone interested in starting or expanding their own businesses and can participate in the event ‘Dare to Dream’ which is scheduled to be held on 18 October, Friday, at the Guildhall in Chard, from 9:30am to 2:30 pm .
Councillor Jo Roundell Greene, holding the portfolio for economic development, said the council will provide support to startups and small businesses, as well as for expansion plans. Some of the guest speakers participating at the free event are Paul Smith of Word Gets Around, Becky Wright of New Leaf Life Design and Jonathan Rice of Samson Office Supplies.
