Free event on renewable energy at Angus

Angus College, Angus Council and the University of Abertay, Dundee will join hands to organise a free showcase event on renewable energy at Angus. East of Scotland Rural Supply Chain Project will jointly support this event. The show is scheduled to take place at Forfar Mart, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on 27th of April. More than 20 organisations are expected to participate during this event.

Free Day of Activities for Families at Swan Pool & Leisure Centre

All of the family are welcome to Swan Pool & Leisure Centre. They are hosting a free day of activities to welcome Everyone Active, the new management team. Please come on Saturday from 10am. To qualify for the free activity day, you have to present your Everyone Active Card, or you can register at the front-desk on the same day. The scheme will be opened by Derrick Isham, the Chairman of Aylesbury Vale District Council (AVDC), at 10am.

Everyone can try out a gym challenge or a new group exercise class. Included are Body Conditioning, Body Combat, Body Balance and group cycling. Try free family swimming or the taster class for sub aqua. Try taste sessions at the pitch. Take a chance at a high-rope adventure course. There’s also stilt walkers, balloon modellers and face painting. A great chance for the whole family.

 

Join for free- tennis activities for the family

Free family tennis activities are being offered at John Charles Centre for Sports at South Leeds, West Yorkshire. You can come on your own or with your friends. You can even bring your mum and dad.
