Free meal at Camborne DISC soon

The members  of Camborne Parish Church who run the Drop In and Share Centre (DISC) are offering residents there one free meal. This lifeline service for vulnerable adults previously offered support only to such vulnerable adults, but now has started to cater to the community. Their DISC Cafe is open from Monday to Friday, between 10.00am to 2.00pm. The free meal is being offered on Tuesday and Thursday and also people can buy five lunches offered at the price of only four from the DISC Cafe.

The DISC project coordinator, Karen Hill, is trying to get in more people to taste their good value meals. Members had earlier last week distributed leaflets all over the town, to inform the whole community and for those who would like a freshly cooked lunch served in a warm and welcome environment, which is what the centre would be offering now.
