Free Personal Safety courses by Police
Free personal safety courses will be conducted at the premises of FIFE police headquarters, Glenrothes, over three evenings, in November and December. This will give an opportunity to members the public to get some safety tips and useful advice from Police officers at the Headquarters on Detroit Road, before the start of the festive season. The police officer for community safety, PC Kerry Anderson, announced the three Wednesday evenings as- November 21 & 28 and December 5. The course which is offered free, is open to members of the public and will be held between 6pm and 9pm. Those who may not like to come alone may invite a friend along. The course will cover topics like personal safety, home security, driving safety, basic self-defence, first-aid, domestic abuse and internet safety. Members attending the sessions will receive a free personal attack alarm.
