Tiscali are excellent when everything works. When a problem occurs the customer service is not very good and you spend most of your time on the phone asking the person to speak louder and trying to decipher what they are saying, All that is because the call centre is in India! Also the customer is charged VAT on top of the £19.99 a month and you have to pay 49p per month for voicemail on your telephone. On the good side though you get anytime talk to all national and local calls. They also charge a 3p connection fee for chargeable calls such as mobiles and 0845, 0870, 0844 nos. I find it better to always e-mail them when you experience a problem as its cheaper but they can take a few weeks to reply but they do eventually! I am looking to change to SKY but only when they have any time talk and it works out cheaper than Tiscali. Dont be put off by my negative comments, Tiscali are good generally just when there are problems they fall down!
