The Dogs Trust will be conducting free workshops to teach children on how to be safe with dogs by encouraging the schools in Wales to sign-up for one of them. This follows last year, as the Dogs Trust had last year worked in Wales with 90 schools and over 23 workshops were arranged.<\/p>\n
‘Be Dog Smart’ is the new initiative launched this year by the charity which is focussed on teaching children about dog safety. On its 11th<\/sup> year, the workshops will engage children through interactive lessons, teach a variety of suggestions and give them knowledge to deal with dogs. They learn how to greet a dog, understand what a frightened dog does and what to do when the dog jumps up.
