This way, wastage of food and food going to landfill can be reduced, the store manager Julia Blackett said.<\/p>\n<p>Left over food for the day though reaches the end of the display date is still consumable. Such foods are being given off to charities. Sainsbury\u2019s has been doing this since 1998.
