The intention is to lure more and more golfers to visit Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>That will amount to a saving of GBP 80 (\u20ac90.60) in total for each player. The airline has taken the concurrence of Failte Ireland, the National Tourism Development Authority of the Republic of Ireland for this bags-fly-free arrangement.<\/p>\n<p>The facility can be availed between 13 airports in the UK and six airports in Ireland up to 7th November. But the reservation has to be done latest by 30th September. The minimum one way fare is GBP 14.99 (\u20ac17).<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Irishtimes\" href=\"http:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/newspaper\/travel\/2011\/0903\/1224303401581.html\" target=\"_blank\">According to Keith McCormack<\/a> of Failte Ireland, around 150,000 foreign players participate in the golf tourneys of Ireland every year. That fetches revenue of about \u20ac110 million for the country. Major part of this is from Britain. The attractive offer will be a boon for the British golfers who are expected to throng to Ireland not only for playing, but to spend the autumn as well.<\/p>\n<p>Until now, the \u2018checked in\u2019 passengers were not allowed to modify their tickets. But that has been relaxed. From now onwards modification is permitted, subject to the passengers shelving out \u20ac15 to the airlines for accessing their reservation details.<\/p>\n<p>Changing of name or date will involve heavy charges. The business passengers and frequent flyers who have already checked in, but who want to have a change will have to pay heavily.<\/p>\n<p>The passengers can make use of the \u2018uncheck\u2019 service of the airline\u2019s telephone reservation system to access \u2018Manage My Booking\u2019 to make alteration in the names and dates.
